


Then I set up local ham frequencies in the spreadsheet and down-loaded to the radio as is instructed by Chirp, and it appeared to take the programming in the normal way. Here's what happened:The radio "uploaded" its current program in the normal way. I tried Chirp to see if it would program without all the drama. I *may* have to fire up an old Windows 95 computer I've got laying around and download "DOSBox" to program it. It uses the KPG-56D program disc and DOS for programming.
